Tesseract dégage une énergie ebm à la tonalité menaçante, sculptée dans l’acid. Demian propose ainsi un morceau teinté d’une sensualité sombre et provocante dont la morsure s’avère venimeuse. Le tout serti d’un vocal d’outre tombe, (tiré d’un morceau du projet électro-industriel/ebm Leæther Strip) qui telle une incantation lugubre, ramènerait les âmes des damnés à la vie pour une dernière rave décadente.

Walk Of Pain produit par U.r.trax. nous immerge dans un univers froid, qui, drainé par une techno martiale, nous emporte dans un trip angoissant au milieu d’un décor à l’atmosphère pesante. La bande son qui illustrerait parfaitement l’éternelle souffrance à laquelle est condamné Sisyphe dans les profondeurs des Enfers.

Television Is God propose avec No Salvation un morceau chargée d’énergie électrique, entouré d’une aura torturée, voire chamanique. Le vocal assez inattendu, issu d’un enregistrement de work songs d’une prison réservée aux afro-américains dans les années 50, rayonne de façon presque transcendantale, portant en lui quelque chose de déchirant, rajoutant encore plus d’intensité à ce morceau très puissant.

Human Enhancer, comme le titre du morceau le laisse deviner, ce dernier s’inscrit dans les thèmes du transhumanisme, de la cybernétique et de l’intelligence artificielle au coeur desquels BXTR puise l’inspiration de ses productions. La composition s’ouvre sur une introduction aux sonorités industrielles, pour ensuite déployer une puissance toute magnétique. Le tourbillon hypnotique des notes de la mélodie réchauffe le romantisme froid de la structure rythmique, pour un rendu visuellement très coloré.

Avec son déferlement de drums et ce rythme martelé par la lourdeur des kicks, 16h07 pose ici avec Slaye En Darkster un morceau hybride à l’énergie abrasive. La saturation étincelante nous éblouit de sa frénésie épileptique. Une production aussi punk que trash et mélodique, dont il est difficile de se dégager une fois pris dans les filets de cette explosion d’euphorie mélancolique.

Suffering Inspires par The Aurem combine la précision d’une composition rythmique percutante aux penchants du producteur pour les harmonies très inspirées. Un morceau intime, une pièce élégiaque qui traduit les déchirements intérieurs de l’être, où la poésie des pads lancinants voile de spleen la violence industrielle des percussions, nous immergeant dans un bain d’onirisme.

Shotgun Law de Blaxad propose une entrée en matière plutôt énigmatique. Le morceau s’ouvre sur la clarté percutante du travail rythmique, portée par la rugosité du kick, dessinant une ambiance assez froide dont le mystère est accentué par ce vocal tordu au goût métallique, à la limite de la dissonance. On glisse cependant subtilement vers un changement de tonalité avec l’entrée du synthé dont irradie cette mélodie presque céleste, à la fois fragile et puissante, qui nappe de majesté l’énergie presque tribale du morceau. Une composition touchante, travaillée de contrastes, tout en clair obscure, et pleine de frissons.

Demian’s Tesseract strikes hard with its poisonous bite, giving off a soaring Ebm-infused energy sculpted in whirling acid lines. A track tinged with a dark sensuality, and set with a hollow vocal (a sample from the goth industrial/ebm project Leæther Strip) rising from beyond the grave that, like a gloomy incantation, brings the damned souls back to life to taste the pleasure of a last filthy rave.

u.r.trax plunges us into a deep and cold universe with Walk Of Pain, driven by a commanding and war-like techno pace ; a cinematic trip throughout an oppressive and anxiety-provoking scenery, The perfect track to illustrate Sisyphus’ eternal pain in the bleak depths of the Underworld.

No Salvation by Television Is God offers a track loaded with electric energy. This twisted – almost shamanic- aura is boosted by this unexpected vocal ; a sample from work songs recorded during the 50’s by jailed Afro-americans. This vibrating voice echoes from above, carrying something harrowing and adding another layer of intensity to this piece of work.

The track Human Enhancer, as the title suggests, draws its inspiration from transhumanism, IA and Cybernetics, which are the narrative threads of BXTR’s productions. Opening on a brief twisted industrial outlook the track then expands into a fast and hypnotic but yet quite somber groove whose powerful magnetism attracts us. The whirling notes of the colourful melody warm up the cold romantism displayed by the rhythmic structure.

With Slaye En Darkster 16h07 offers a hybride and corrosive production. The hammering kicks give the track an earth-shaking dynamic and the shiny saturation dazzles us of its mournful frenzy. A very wild melodic track pervaded with trash energy, whose insane burst of epileptic euphoria immediately seizes us.

In Suffering Inspires, The Aurem blends the dynamism of fast-paced drum arrangements with his taste for very inspired harmonies. A kind of elegiac piece of work that conveys the inner turmoils of the mind. The softness radiating from the pads shrouds the industrial violence of the drums with spleen, and the intoxicating melody plunges us into deep dreamy and poetic atmosphere.

Shotgun Law by Blaxad begins on a quite enigmatic introduction. Opening on striking rythmic arrangements driven by a rough kick, it tends to convey a cold and mysterious atmosphere, all the more accentuated by a metalic-taste infused and twisted vocal. However the composition evolves to another tone with the synth throwing this celestial bright melody, which sounds both fragile and powerful, and shrouds the tribal energy of the drums with majesty. As a result it is a very moving and thrilling composition permeated with contrasts, between light and dark, that will surely makes you thrill.
