Arriving in Marseille from Casablanca, VOST was quick to make he's way into the underground techno scene. Eager for rave and dark techno parties that he could not find in his native country, VOST quickly made his mark with META and their community.
He launches into music production during quarantine at full speed, polishes his brutalist style, and releases a few tracks, on Zero Guidance (his own label), and on compilations on Ola Radio, NECHTO (Nastia’s imprint) or Jerry Horny. His style navigates between break, hard techno and emotional club, we guess a sensitive human being with a taste for the extreme behind the machines. Cited as one of the artists to follow in Marseille by Meta on Underscope, we can only confirm that VOST will shift many sound systems in the coming years.

VOST takes friendship and ability to create bonds with each others as the narrative thread of the release, which might explain why sensitiveness takes such an importance and permeates all the tracks. Indeed apart from the hypnotic drums beats and breakbeat rhythmic patterns, melodies leave a real lasting impression, powered by inspired synth lines, beautiful chord harmonies and echoing vocals. As a result the release alternates between techno tracks like ‘Unkown Feelings’, emotional-breakbeat gems like ‘Maybe’, or heartbreaking synth-infused bangers like ‘Jardin Aux Aurores’.
